One of our popular events was our Annual CFSA ‘Hoops 4 Kids’ Basketball Tournament. Each year the tournament allowed us to raise money for our sponsor child as well as different projects in various countries led by Children Believe Canada, such as backpacks for kids, sports equipment etc. The tournaments were very exciting for the players who came to support as well as the exec team. It allowed us to broaden our reach to the community outside of UofA, as well as host a fun event that connected people.
