Co- Presidents
Chikku Sadasivan
Chikku is in his fourth year of his Bachelor of Science degree. He is an avid car enthusiast and enjoys playing soccer. He chose to be a part of CBSA because he wanted a fun way to give back to the community while meeting like-minded peers.
Deanne Vuzi
Deanne is in her 4th year in the Faculty of Science. She has been with CBSA since the startup! To her CBSA isn’t just a Student Group, it’s a place to make new friends, whilst giving back to a number of communities! She enjoys the many different aspects of CBSA, from raising awareness for children’s educational opportunities, to highlighting social issues (e.g. BLM Movement).
Off campus, she is a soccer coach and player; and has only ever gotten 1 red card!
Tark Patel

Tark is in his 3rd year of his Bachelors of Science Degree. He joined the club in his 2nd year to become a part of its mission to raise awareness about educational inequalities across the world and to take steps to bridge those inequalities. He is a big basketball fan and loves to play basketball in his free time!
Rakhbeer Bopari
VP Finance

Rakhbeer is a 4th year student in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. He originally joined CBSA with the ambition to diversify his experiences, gain many new skills and meet some fantastic new people! For him this group has done that and so much more. He is proud of how CBSA has come together to use their platform to combat many societal issues and bring awareness to our communities, with the hope of using our privilege to make the world a better place for everyone. A fun fact about Rakhbeer is that he loves music, enjoys DJing and is currently teaching himself to play the violin!
Jason Li

Jason is entering his fourth year in the Faculty of Business. He joined CBSA with the ambition to help raise awareness by giving underprivileged children a fighting chance from poverty around the world. As part of CBSA, Jason enjoys collaborating with the team to make every activity as fun and meaningful as possible. During his free time, Jason likes to play soccer and is an avid video gamer.
Sisuri Hemakumara

Sisuri is in her 4th year at the Faculty of Science and a fun fact about her is that she used to swim competitively. She chose CBSA because it was raising awareness for the importance of giving children equal opportunities to education and a brighter future and also to host some fun events and get to meet some amazing people in and outside of the club!

Jinny is in the Faculty of Science majoring in Physiology. A fun fact about her is that she know how to speak 3 languages fluently. She joined CBSA because it was a great opportunity to meet new people while also helping raise awareness about the important issues regarding children around the world.
Arashdeep Saini

The 2020-21 school year will mark Arash's 4th year of studies in the Faculty of Science and his third year as a member of CBSA. CBSA has allowed him to collaborate with like-minded individuals to help communities both locally and globally. When he is not occupied with school, he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with family and friends!
Suha Guda

Suha is currently in the fourth year of her Bachelors of Science degree. An interesting fact about her is that she has been an Indian classical and Bollywood dancer for the past 11 years. She applied to CBSA because she was intrigued by our mission to sponsor a child as well as support other childrens’ educational needs. Also, it gave her a chance to meet new people from different faculties and plan exciting events together.
Maira Khan Afridi

Maira has just graduated with a Bachelor of Science and is currently enrolled in open studies. She joined CBSA because she admire our goals and wanted to take part in a group that supports educational equality at a global scale. A fun fact about her is that she is a big foodie, so during her free time she loves to try new foods and spend time with family and friends!
Jayden Pannu

Jayden is in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. He chose CBSA because he wanted to be a part of a group that highlighted and took action to ensure that children from throughout the globe have a chance to attain a better education and quality of life. Throughout his time with the club, Jayden has had a chance to meet many great people and be a part of some amazing events. A fun fact about Jayden is that he used to play hockey competitively.
Joshua Joy

Joshua is a first year student in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. He joined CBSA because he wanted to make positive contributions to the greater community and be a part of a team in order to foster meaningful relationships. In his spare time, he likes to play piano and guitar.
Mahek Punjabi

Mahek is entering her fourth year in the Faculty of Business. She co- founded CBSA in her first year and loves the group because of its initiatives to give back and all of the amazing friends and memories she’s made! In her free time, she loves to exercise, eat all kinds of carbs, and hang out with her friends and family!

Abi is a first year BscKin student in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation. He joined CBSA to not only get involved in school and meet new people, but to also learn ways to help out underprivileged kids on a more global level.
A fun fact about him is that he used to be able to do a backflip on a trampoline

Mostafa is in the Faculty of Nursing and likes to spend most of his time playing basketball or just hanging out with friends. He joined CBSA because of its mission to help underprivileged children. While at the club, he has made many new friends, gained a ton of experience, and has been a part of hosting some amazing events!
Fiza Ali

Fiza is in her second year in the Faculty of Science majoring in Physiology. She joined the club because she loved that the club worked both internationally and locally to raise awareness and support underprivileged children. She thought it would be a great way to meet some new people while also making a difference. A fun fact about her is that she loves watching hockey, especially the oilers.

Frank is a master student in Faculty of Engineering. The reason he joined CBSA was to use digital media like photos and videos to further raise awareness of the things happening in society. Frank enjoys nature and photography!
Govind Kumar

Govind is in the first year of his masters program in engineering management. He joined CBSA because he saw it as a great opportunity to make a difference in the community while meeting some awesome new people! He enjoys driving! Over the last year and a half he has driven across Canada a few times and most of Mid-West USA. He was fortunate enough to also race on 5 different race tracks in both Countries.
